FLEX update continues

An update to the FLEX software (v1.5.6), is rolling out and should be complete by the middle of December.

The ability to override the default signature method for eGOS has been added, this is useful for Optoms in the consulting room who want to use a different device to sign the claim.

The new device can also be set as the default device for that pc.(v.1.5.6)

Record specific patient needs by opening the 'Accessible Information' window and selecting from the in-built library of descriptions - you can also add your own notes!

An icon will appear on the patient record with a tooltip showing the details chosen.

Monitor how the practice is fairing with the 'Business Performance' dashboard.

STOCK LABELLING WITH THE ZEBRA ZD410

Have you considered labelling your stock with a barcode label printer, labelling your stock makes it easier for the customer & staff to read the price, looks neater and makes stock-taking easier (quickly scan your stock barcode labels to add them to the stock-take, barcode scanner or FLEX scanning app required).

Labels can be printed directly from the stock screen in FLEX.

The label printer that you will need is the Zebra ZD410.

Adds an option to use 'Px Home Address' to the 'Select Venue' screen for quicker address selection.

Credits & discounts can now be entered as either positive or negative but will always appear as negative values on the receipt as intended.
