Oolong is pleased to present "Sunblock 5000" featuring twelve prominent and emerging artists from around the nation and Mexico City. The show brings together experimental and traditional mediums in contemporary art: virtual reality, sculpture, painting, photography, and installation work. "Sunblock 5000" is a colorful and zany exhibition framed as an upsell on esthetic purity tests apres the beach. Some of the artists have been making work for more than a decade or two and have exhibited in major cities and galleries around the world. Oolong Gallery is pleased to also include new work from recent local MFA graduates at UCSD.
