July is the Month of The Precious Blood of Jesus and today is the feast of Saints Louis and Zelie Martin, saintly parents of St. Therese of Lisieux! May Saints Louis and Zelie intercede for all of our parish families as we pray,

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph,

in you we contemplate

the splendor of true love; to you we turn with trust.

Holy Family of Nazareth,

grant that our families too

may be places of communion and prayer, authentic schools of the Gospel

and small domestic churches.

Sts. Louis and Zelie, pray for our families.

Help us to learn from your shining example,

and make us docile to the inspirations of the Holy Spirit.

Rooted Magazine

If you missed the June or July issues of Rooted Magazine, our new parish subscription for families, there are still a few print copies available this weekend at the family ministry table and you can email Jessica for to access to our digital link!

Saint Jude Parish has received a Foundations in Faith Grant for family formation and plans to host a Parent Retreat some time this Fall or early Winter. If you would like to be on the planning committee, email Jessica.

Part of this project will also include parent formation sessions during religious education based on interest. If you would be interested in attending a parent class during your child's religious education class, email Jessica.

The National Eucharistic Congress begins next week in Indianapolis, Indiana. Pray for a successful event.

Relevant Radio will be broadcasting live and have recordings of the events each day.

Learn about the inspirational life of Joseph Reali, likened to a modern day Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, who we were blessed to learn more about at Camp Adore this year through his local family.

A new initiative from the Institute for Catholic Formation, First Witnesses is a great resource! It combines the latest research with very practical resources for parents and parishes to build a culture of strong faith within the family and parish community. Witnessing the faith begins at home.
