We have a tendency to think of graduation as an isolated and infrequent event, but in fact we are all graduating all the time. We are always "advancing to a new level of skill, achievement, or awareness." What can we do to ensure that we graduate "from one degree of glory to another"? (2 Corin 3:18)

With summer just ahead and vacation plans percolating, now is the perfect time to reflect on our need for play. The spirit of play is all about exploring, inventing, and creating. And it isn't something we leave behind in childhood. As Fred Rogers knew well: "Deep down we all know it's true. Play matters.

Bring your own drum or use one of the percussion instruments we have on hand.

Concert 7:00pm

Featuring the hippie nostalgia group, The Bead People (Jim Fuller, Ralph Leeseberg, Joe Lambert, Joanne Blum), singing songs of peace and love that you know the words to. Join us as we drum and sing our way into this day of longest light. Donation basis.

SUMMER CONCERT

Unity Church of Delaware

Sat., August 17th at 6:00pm

We'll be hosting our annual summer concert on August 17th, featuring the rich musical talents of our members and friends. A donation will be taken--this is our only real fund-raiser of the year--and a great deal of fun will be raised, with wonderful music, a tasty spread of refreshments, and (weather permitting) the joy of being out in the grass celebrating summer!
