Free Member Shredding Event & School Supplies Fundraiser

NHMR Members - bring confidential paperwork to be professionally shredded, free of charge. To ensure a steady flow, we ask that you please register for a time slot. Participants are encouraged to bring either a monetary donation or school supplies to be distributed to organizations supporting various school districts in our area. Donations can also be made in advance when you register. Free Member shredding is made possible by our sponsor, Just Dump It!
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! INVITE YOUR CLIENTS! From 12:30 - 2:30 pm, Shredding will be open to the public for $10/box, with all funds benefitting the NHMR Foundation. Limit 10 boxes/bags. Funds raised for this event will go towards school supplies to be distributed to organizations supporting various school districts in our area. Clients cleaning out their houses, friends and family are able to participate.

Realtors in Need can apply for Assistance through Enjoy Life Fund
The Enjoy Life Fund was established by a group of close friends of longtime REALTOR Ed Della Valle to commemorate his spirit and philosophy of life. The Fund is designed to assist full-time Realtors in the Greater New Haven Area who are faced with large expenses, personally and/or for immediate family members, resulting from a health crisis. Such expenses may include medical, dental, hospitalization, rehabilitation, transportation, insurance co-payments, and other healthcare related items.
Applications for support should be in the form of a concise letter noting circumstances together with a list of expenses incurred. The letter should be submitted by the individual (Realtor) or their care-giver. A request for a specific dollar amount should be included with information regarding what medical expenses the money will be used to offset.
Letters of application must be postmarked no later than June 20th and sent to:

DCP Fines for Late CE Completion
SALESPERSONS: IF YOU DID NOT COMPLETE YOUR CE CREDITS BY FEBRUARY 28TH YOU ARE LATE AND WILL RECEIVE A FINE FROM THE DCP
If a real estate licensee fails to complete their CE for any two-year license period, they must pay:
· $315 if CE is completed within 2 months after the CE completion deadline; or
· $625 if CE is completed within 2 to 4 months after the CE completion deadline.
