The Book of Remembrance is dedicated to the memory of our loved ones who have passed away and can be a meaningful and permanent recognition for family and friends.

Volunteer Needed for our

High Holiday Children's Program

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer to lead our High Holiday Children's Program. The hours are from 10 AM to 12 PM on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. (An additional person will be there to assist you.) This important role involves planning and coordinating activities for our youngest members during the High Holidays. Rabbi Julie will begin the month of Elul, the Hebrew month leading up to Rosh Hashanah, by discussing the book The Amen Effect by Rabbi Sharon Brous. 

The talk is jointly sponsored by the Adult Ed and Worship Committees. Registration is required.

Seaside is sponsoring a Zoom with the Jewish Federation of Delaware, with veteran Israeli Journalist Mark Lavie. Mark has been reporting from Israel and the Mideast since 1972, broadcasting for major North American networks, reporting for The Associated Press, and analyzing developments for The Media Line. A Zoom link will be provided soon.

SOAH was formed to take ACTION against Hate. This meeting will be about "Let us hear YOUR voice" as we break out into groups and share your ideas and suggestions on actionable steps you would like to see SOAH taking.
