Community Event of Interest

Registration is required

On June 6, from 5-7 p.m. at the Lewes Library and via Zoom, Speak Out Against Hate (SOAH) will hold its fourth Community Meeting. This meeting will focus on symbols of hate and specifically the continued presence of the Confederate Flag flying outside the Marvel Museum in Georgetown. A panel of local leaders will address the history of the flying of the flag at the Museum, efforts made to remove it, and concerted actions that may now be taken to hasten its removal.

SOAH is an organization established in 2023 to address the rapidly growing culture of hate in our community and throughout our State, its normalization and the general lack of response to it by our community and State Leaders.
