Installers can now modify key fields

Within the RHI app installers can now edit the vehicle data on the vehicle screen. This enhancement will reduce support calls and increase installation efficiency, saving both installers and Verizon Connect time and money. Previously, installers would need to contact Customer Support for any vehicle editing needs.

15% of installer calls require vehicle editing assistance – with this change in the RHI app, we expect to see calls significantly decrease.

New fields can now be edited

Editable fields include:

  • Vehicle name (note: only editable for new installs)
  • Vehicle number
  • License plate
  • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
  • Year/Make/Model (YMM)
  • Fuel type
  • Odometer
  • Engine hours
  • Tank capacity
  • Fuel efficiency (city)
  • Fuel efficiency (highway)
  • Vehicle photo

Tier 1 & 2 Talk track

Tier 1 / 2 Support - to be disclosed with installers who request support for editing vehicle data fields within the RHI app:

“I can help you with editing the vehicle fields, but did you know we recently made these fields available for you to edit within the Installer App? Going forward you'll be able to make this change directly."

RHI enhancements on the way

We will continue to improve the RHI app throughout 2024 by adding support for:

  • A new intuitive, streamlined design
  • Camera swaps
  • Peripheral cameras
