Current stock of Equipment Asset Trackers with a Battery (EAT-B) is extremely limited and is expected to run out-of-stock by May 17, 2024.

We expect new inventory to be available by June 10, 2024.

Once the current EAT-B inventory is depleted, we will be unable to ship non-powered asset trackers until stock is replenished. Customers that need EAT-B devices will be placed on priority backorder status until new inventory is available. 

The Hardware Specifier (HWS) must be used to determine when stock is available in order to ship the appropriate hardware.

While sales should continue for asset tracking, please use the following instructions for orders:

• Customers must be advised that non-powered asset trackers will not be available until June, 2024
• Update the billing trigger to NOT start until June, 2024

Effective immediately, use the script below when talking to your customers:

Sales and Deployment - to be disclosed with customers determined to need EAT-B devices:

“Our non-powered asset trackers are temporarily out of stock, but we expect to relieve inventory by mid-June, 2024. We are placing your order into a priority queue to be processed as soon as new inventory is received. We apologize for the delay and are working diligently to try and ship your devices as soon as possible.”

Tier 1 / 2 Support - to be disclosed with customers determined to have a defective EAT-B device:

“We are temporarily out of stock of the non-powered asset trackers to replace your current device type. We should have a new shipment from our supplier by min-June, 2024 and will be sending a replacement as soon as the inventory becomes available. We are working diligently to try and move that estimated timeline up and ship your device as soon as possible.”
