Local history
Marking the 60th anniversary, Lebanon Historian Nicole Ford Burley takes us back to the fire of 1964. Rare, original footage of the fire and heroic efforts to control it are included, courtesy of Herbert Merrihew. Filmed at AVA Gallery for the Lebanon Historical Society, Burley's talk offers unique insight into a pivotal moment for the town.

UV housing
Andrew Winter, Executive Director, cut the ribbon 9/4/24 to open Twin Pines Apartments, a new housing initiative for unhoused community members. Scott Neal of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, reflected on his 2017 vision, now a reality. Each new resident will be welcomed with a handmade quilt crafted by St. Paul's Church and Bugbee Senior Center members.

Law and democracy
Constitutional law scholar, litigator, and VT Law and Grad School President Rod Smolla unpacked issues germane to the upcoming election, including presidential immunity, the Fourteenth Amendment’s Insurrection Clause, "Faithless Electors,” and the powers of states to influence outcomes in the Electoral College at this 9/9/24 town meeting forum.

Drop into JAM and learn how to make a "ZINE"! What's a zine, you ask? A "zine" is any multi-page booklet made for passion, not profit. Supplies will be provided – just bring your curiosity and ideas, and cartoonist Daryl Seitchik will lead the way.
