Philomath Public Art Project Kicked Off!

The Philomath Downtown Association (PDA) and the Philomath Public Art Council are pleased to announce the first in a series of art banners that will be hung throughout Main Street Philomath.

"This is a first of a series of colorful, unique banners designed by local graphic artist Jeri Hauth (pictured with her design), that celebrates Philomath's past as a town devoted to learning," said Jack Duran, PDA Board President and Co-Chair of the Philomath Public Art Council. "We have another request for proposals out for additional banner designs, and are in the process of raising funds for an original bike rack design to be built this fall. We have great public participation in kicking off public art for Philomath".
