TOP Flights Available to CAP Educators CAP's Teacher Orientation Program (TOP) continues to ignite a greater interest in aviation-related STEM subjects for our educator members. CAP pilots are helping educators make the connections between the principles and actions of flight and all areas of STEM — even allowing the teachers to take the yoke and try flying the plane themselves! Members Invited to Wear Uniforms to Church Chaplain (Col.) John Murdoch, CAP chief of chaplains, invites all members who participate in worship services of any faith tradition to wear their U.S. Air Force service dress or CAP corporate equivalent uniform to their services the weekend of Nov. 29-Dec. 1. Members are encouraged to share photos from the event on social media with hashtag #CAPWorship.

Summer Internships Available Through Textron Textron Inc. is again offering paid internships exclusively for CAP cadets for summer 2020. These positions will go quickly and close as soon as they are filled. Cadets are eligible if they’ve earned the Wright Brothers Award, have a high school diploma or GED and are pursuing an engineering degree or Aircraft & Powerplant education license. Applications are available for openings at Textron’s facilities at Independence, Kansas (site of the summer Aircraft Maintenance and Manufacturing Academy) and Mesa, Arizona . Listen to Cadet Capt.
