Food & Nutrition Center: Increase in Participants

Over May - July 2023, CRC's Food & Nutrition Center saw a 46% increase in the average monthly number of participants coming for food assistance, compared to the same time period last year.

This overall increase is due mainly from the increase of people in need of emergency food … those who have been caught short of funds and were unable to purchase food for themselves and their families.

(Emergency food assistance saw a 72% increase.)

You are a critical piece in our Community of Care ... You can help provide food, housing and safety to hundreds of our neighbors in need, during our summer appeal.

Thank you for partnering with CRC and supporting our mission!

CRC's New Youth Advisory Board

CRC has launched a volunteer Youth Advisory Board for the 23-24 school year. The high school students, selected through an application process, will receive Ambassador Training and then will be providing valuable feedback throughout the year to our fundraising, communications and volunteer recruitment strategies.

CRC values youth and their impact in the world and we are excited to see what this year has in store for this motivated group!
