Our Story.

Overholt Truss was founded in 1998 when Dallas Overholt saw a need for a truss manufacturing facility on the Western Slope of Colorado. Dallas, along with his wife and children, spent the next 6 years building the company; excelling in growth, quality, and employee loyalty. During this time, Overholt Truss became a household name in its community, as it was known not only by supplying a much-needed product, but also for providing many jobs for families in this area.

In May of 2000, Marvin Peachey started working at Overholt Truss as a sawyer and took over management of the facility in 2004. Two years later, in 2006, Marv purchased the company from Dallas and continued to flourish until the housing industry saw a huge downturn in 2008, which resulted in a decline of sales, and work for his staff. Operating out of compassion for his employees and their families as well as his own standards of growth, integrity, and calculated risk, Marv acted upon a need to diversify and expand - against all odds. With a positive outlook and energy, he birthed what is now known as Overholt Sheds and Delta Metals!

• Delta Metals is a roll forming company that has grown to be a supplier of many retailers throughout Colorado

Since the birth of these two companies, they have also become household names in the community; not only for the product they provide, but for the many ways of serving their community and the ability to provide even more jobs for local families. In 2016, Delta Building Center LLC (DBC) was formed as an umbrella for the three entities, combining the management and staff of all three companies under one roof to work together as a team, and make it much more convenient for our customers. DBC has taken the roots from Overholt Truss and expanded that into all areas of the company and remains even more committed to its standards of growth, family, compassion and loyalty!

A 7-WEEK EMPLOYEE “SOFT SKILLS” TRAINING PROGRAM

Employers need quality employees. Employees need additional skills to grow and succeed. The Positive Employee Program is the solution. Through a comprehensive seven-session training program delivered in an engaging format that creates positive change, employers and employees thrive together.

A senior leader of the organization will attend a single full day session or two half-day sessions to become familiar with the information being taught to employees. As a bonus, the employer engagement session will include a personal DISC Assessment for the leader attending.

While the program value is $2500, this program is provided to the local region for $289 plus a $75 student material fee. Included in this price is an employee workbook where individuals will create their unique Positive Employee Profile drawing from the insights gained from the leading workplace assessment, Everything DISC Workplace Profile by Wiley.
