Almost immediately after the new year, we received notification from New York State’s Housing and Homeless Assistance Program (HHAP) that they had accepted our concept paper and approved the next step of submitting an RFP for funding. The application process is complex and will require several months to complete. However, we've been encouraged to apply for the remaining funding to build the entire project, avoiding the necessity of building in phases and shortening the construction timeline significantly. |
