Graduates Speak Out About CRC's 40-Hour

Domestic Violence Advocacy Training

This month, the newest group of Domestic Violence (DV) advocates graduated after completing 40 hours of training held at One Safe Place and led by Luis Canseco, CRC's DV Education & Prevention Manager.

These were some of the responses when they were asked: What did you like most about this training?

  • “ACE training, LGBT Training and Teen Dating Violence training. The selection of the topics was well organized and relevant to different fields.”
  • “How interactive it is, how knowledgeable presenters are, how relevant the info is.”
  • “The thought and dedication put into the topics. The real scenarios activity.”
  • “I was able to reconnect with inner traumas that I may have gone through, and it may also help me as well as my clients.”

Congratulations to all the graduates! Thank you for making the world a more healing place for survivors of domestic violence.
