Dear Followers of the Yellow Brick Road,
Spring has sprung, so grab your ruby slippers and join us for upcoming ArtWorks events.
Our first Wet Paint of 2024 is this Thursday night, May 9, at the 21c Museum Hotel! This artist talk is free, fun, and inspiring – as Apprentices and year-round Mural and Photo/Video Studio Artists share details on their projects.
And more this week: the Emerald City has nothing on the Price Hill Branch Library on Saturday, May 11, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Join us and the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library for a dedication of the new outdoor public artwork by Michael Coppage titled "Off to See the Wizard." The ArtWorks' team coordinated the call to artists, leading to this great result.
But don't forget that ArtWorks Public Walking Tours are just a heel-click away! Buy your tickets now for downtown and OTR tours on select Saturdays from June through November.
And mark your calendars for Sunday, June 23, 1– 4 p.m., when we will honor our new Cuban Cultural Mural in true Cuban style, with lively festivities and the chance to hear from the artist behind this vibrant work, Jorge Rodriguez Diez.
Remember: There's no place like ArtWorks!
