The Chancellor Awards for Diversity recognize the outstanding efforts of individuals at UCSF who demonstrate a strong commitment to the elimination of barriers to full inclusion for all people. Individuals recognized are leaders and pioneers in their respective fields and the communities they serve.
The fourth annual Black Day of Healing centers therapeutic connection, reflection, and inspiration designed for Black fellows and resident physicians as well as allies within UCSF Health. Faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
The CARE (Campus Advocacy, Resources, and Education) Program provides free, confidential support to any UCSF affiliates who have experienced discrimination, harassment, or abuse, or have experienced interpersonal violence, such as sexual assault, dating/intimate partner violence, sexual harassment or stalking.
The Glide Center for Social Justice engages community members annually in a pilgrimage to Montgomery, Alabama to examine the impact of racism and economic inequality on health care and mass incarceration. This year, UCSF faculty and staff, participants in Glide’s Men in Progress, and members of the GLIDE community convened February 17 -22, 2024 to experience the journey together.
