"Keeping in Touch"Addresses Treacherous Weather

Greetings,Tutors!

The final weeks of summer can bring bizarre and sometimes frightful weather. Severe thunderstorms, tornado warnings, flash floods, and sirens - these terms can be confusing or meaningless to our students. Use this month's "Keeping in Touch" to talk with your learner about inclement weather and what they should do if they are faced with a severe weather situation.

Along with the rain comes special gear! Umbrella, rain hat, galoshes, and other words can be fun new terms to introduce into your conversation.

I hope that you enjoy these dwindling summer days and all they bring.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need help with tutoring strategies. Be well and take care.

With gratitude and hope,
