"If you need me, I'll be outside."

— Instagram caption
Despite the cooler temps and frozen precipitation, we continue to see visitor traffic at the chamber. It's always fun to meet new friends and help them connect with our city and what the community has to offer. With a calendar that promises family-fun, food trucks and festivals, there is no containing our excitement for this year and we look forward to sharing it with everyone that swings in.

Up next on the calendar is Winter Snolf. Join us February 5th, for a day on the slopes, I mean greens, I mean snow course, well you get it. Snolf teams will play at Evergreen Country Club navigating a fresh course laid out with nine altered holes ranging from 50yd - 150yd. Guests are invited to bring (1) golf club and the Elkhorn Chamber will provide buckets of tennis balls and sleds to carry all your equipment.

This new found winter treasure will kick-off at noon with a soup buffet including artisan breads and a cash bar! Teams will venture out to play winter snolf starting at 1pm.

Hats, gloves, snow pants and sunglasses are highly encouraged! We can't wait to see you on the snolf course February 5th!

When life hands you snow, you play snolf!
PS. We've fixed the form that wouldn't open last week.
Submit away.
Submissions will be compiled and shared at the end of each month.

March 12th, 2022 - Maker Faire POSTPONED
The Why:
1: We typically have over 100 Makers, but our interest survey has only given us 18 Makers who are definite "yes's".
2:We do not want to forego the quality of the event for the community, seeing as this is something many families look forward to each year, with certain expectations.
3: With the virus spreading so rapidly, we do not want to put makers, teachers, students, and the community in harm's way.

What Can You Do Instead:
1: Schedule a Maker Monday workshop in the high school library on Monday evenings. (These are smaller setting, and offer a lot of 1 on 1 hands on with the guests)  https://forms.gle/t8mj8o5FcvMRugTW9
2: Host a workshop at your own business, and the Maker Faire will promote it for you on all of the district's social media platforms. https://forms.gle/t8mj8o5FcvMRugTW9
3: Don't forget about us, and cross your fingers that next year will be a better year for large events.

No one wants pain, but many people are affected by it. Chronic pain is one of the top
reasons people go to the doctor. In fact, more people are affected by chronic pain than
diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and cancer combined. Pain that continues after healing
or longer than expected is called chronic pain.
