Greetings!
Once more, the ISW community is saddened to hear of the passing of another of its members, Subash Chander Gupta. We extend our condolences to his family. Many of us remember Subashji for his gentle demeanor, his willingness to help at the various ISW events including India Day. We pray for his soul and for strength for the family.

In Memoriam: Subash Chander Gupta
We are sorry to hear of the demise of Subhash Gupta, on April 7, 2022. He was a dedicated ISW member and we remember his gentle, smiling face as he helped at many ISW events. The family will hold a puja and memorial service at the ISW India Center at 12 noon on April 17th. Details on the ISW Website.

Free Sanskrit introductory family workshop
Saturday, April 16th, 2022 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm

The ISW School in partnership with Samskrita Bharati USW is offering a free all day family workshop to introduce families to Sanskrit. Samskrita's approach emphasizes having the whole family learning together.

U for Ukraine Fundraiser
ISW graduating students, Adrika, Jaya, & Kunal, are running a fundraiser to support people of Ukraine. Activities included a brownie sale, a pajama party, and a raffle for 3D printed objects. Winners of the 3D Printing Raffle were: Bhavya Kamakolanu -Telugu, class, Paarth Kapoor, Sohan Hegde & Saket Gahlot from Hindi classes. The final raffle is for 50% off ISW School fees for one student. Enter by making a $20 donation on the ISW Website and writing 'Ukraine Fundraiser School fee raffle ticket" in the comment box. Drawing will be April 13th, 2022.

Asian Community Fund Grant Opportunity
The Asian Community Fund is inviting nonprofits serving the Asian American community to apply for a special onetime general operating grant, in partnership with the Boston Foundation’s COVID-19 Response Fund.
