It's finally here, spring. And as we do every year, we will watch seedlings erupt from the earth and blossoms transform into full foliage. We will witness the transformation of dormant to living. It's as if the universe is charging it's paddles, yelling, "CLEAR", and shocking our systems back to life. Thank you, Doctor Earth!
I'm ready for the zap. For a re-charge. I'm ready for dirt under my finger nails ands grass stains on my jeans from turning dirt and planting seeds. Because there is nothing better than knowing you have placed a small and insignificant seed into the perfect environment [moist soil]. And while seemingly trapped, it will transform into its intended purpose: a fruit bearing organism.
Some seeds are planted with intention. Some are carried by the wind. Others take off riding a fuzzy bumble bee to find themselves transplanted a few acres away. Just like seeds, we are all planted. Maybe it was intentional, maybe it was an accidental bumble bee ride, or maybe you're still riding the wind.
We all have a story. Each story produces seeds. And with time and in the right environment, those seeds bear fruit. The fruit of our labor. The fruit of our wisdom. The fruit of our patience. The fruit of our persistence. The fruit of our lives.
This spring and all year long, make sure you are "planting seeds" in the best environments. Hospitable surroundings where they will emerge and where they will blossom and where they will flourish.
"Convince me that you have a seed there,
and I am prepared to expect wonders"
Best case scenario...you end up with dirt under your finger nails and grass stains on your jeans.
Happy SPRING! Happy Planting!
