Greetings! The Virtual Fly Day was an amazing success!  451 kids, from 21 states (including states we have never reached before) registered and earned their wings.  More than 150 of these co-pilots were new to Challenge Air. THANK YOU to so many volunteers and supporters who made the videos, packed boxes for the kids, provided financial support, and put on a great day!  Clearly, we have found a great new tradition and outreach.  My favorite moment?  When a parent posted that her non-verbal, autistic child just smiled and said, “Mommy, I am flying a plane!” I am busy right now connecting with Fly Day Committees and filling up the calendar for fall and winter with actual Fly Days.  We are so excited to have a plan to be back in the air with our kids and families and volunteers!  Watch for dates and cities in the next newsletter.  We have worked hard and planned well to make it through a pandemic year. THANK YOU for the financial support to keep going. Now we are ready to take off!  And your support is needed more than ever.
