Welcome Day Registration

Registration Is Now Open!

Lakehead International is thrilled to welcome our new international students during our Fall 2024 International Student Welcome Day. Join us for the New International Student Welcome Day on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in the Hangar at Lakehead University. This event is mandatory for all new incoming international students.

Date: Wednesday, August 28, 2024

Time: 9:30 am to 2:00 pm (4 hours)

Location: Lakehead University Hangar

Important Arrival Information

Recommended Arrival Dates & Time

We recommend that you arrive between August 19th - August 27th.

This will allow you to attend our Welcome Day scheduled for August 28th, get familiar with your new home, and have a few days to work off your jetlag before classes begin.

Airport Arrival - Thunder Bay

Take advantage of our Airport Transportation program. Before your departure, fill out our Airport Transport request and receive a free taxi voucher that will take you from the Thunder Bay Airport directly to your place of accommodation.
