What is Let's Talk? It's easy access to informal, brief, consultation sessions with mental health professionals. Sessions are  available Monday-Friday. See the schedule and learn more about Virtual Let's Talk.

Speaking with a therapist during Let's Talk can help you access support, gain perspective, explore resources and options, and discuss how therapy might be helpful.

CAPS Appointments Available!
Our counselors are available for telephone appointments from 10am-4pm, Monday-Friday. ALL UC Berkeley students get free sessions regardless of insurance.
  • For students new to CAPS: call (510) 642-9494 to schedule the initial phone call. 
  • Returning students can send a secure message to their counselor and set up a virtual therapy appointment.
  • For after-hours support, please call the 24/7 line at (855) 817-5667.
Free Guided Therapy Videos
Therapy Assistance Online (TAO) offers free guided therapy videos for all UC Berkeley students . Videos such as "Mindful Awareness," "Observing Thoughts," "States of Flow," "Light as a Feather," and much more are available.

Summer Break Reminders 
      • Remember to schedule virtual medical and mental health appointments, and refill your prescription before eligibility ends. 
      • SHIP 2019-20 ends July 31, 2020.
      • Note that UHS will be completely closed on weekends beginning Saturday, May 16. We will continue to be open M-F, 10am-4pm, offering virtual medical, mental health, and health coaching appointments.

Services at the Tang Center for SHIP Dependents 
Starting May 1, 2020, UHS is now able to provide care at the Tang Center for any dependents who are over the age of 18 that are currently on the SHIP plan. Learn about what services we're offering dependents, how to access care, and how to pay for care on our webpage.
