Juneteenth, Wednesday, June 19th 10:00am

Join the Sheffield Historical Society and community members in our sanctuary to remember the efforts of

Rev. Samuel Harrison, chaplain of the famed 54th Regiment during the Civil War, founding pastor of Second Congregational Church in Pittsfield, and early civil rights leader who fought and secured

equal pay for black soldiers.

A special unveiling of a historic document will be featured.

Gather with us as we honor history and recommit

to the ongoing work of racial justice.

Appalachian Trail Hospitality Ministry begins this Monday, June 17th!

The Big tent goes up on Saturday. A brand new wooden shed is soon to be delivered! Final preparations are underway.

There's still plenty of space for local church folks to sign up to welcome hikers. New volunteers, seasoned volunteers, everyone is welcome!

Hiker gratitude will fill the air! Try it! You'll love it too!

Financial donations to buy supplies are also welcome! Visit the church website to donate.
