Friends of Cyrus has a number of well-trained and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) that are here to provide you with the support that you need.

DSPs are born caregivers and teachers, trained to understand each individual client’s needs. They are capable of providing behavior management, respite, and personal care services year round in the comfort of our clients’ homes.
Community Based Supports 

Our In-Home Supports Program ensures that clients are transported in and around the community and integrated into a selection of recreational activities. Our clients learn life skills, build healthy social skills and develop relationships with others.

Time in the community enhances awareness about dangers to be avoided and opportunities to be enjoyed. Direct Support Professionals provide 1-1 supervision to both guide teach, according to each individual's level of need.

Spooky season has come and gone once again, and the In-Home Supports team at Friends of Cyrus made sure to send off October the right way by throwing a party for the amazing individuals we serve.
We spruced up our Piscataway office's lunch room with some spine-chilling decor and invited individuals enrolled in our In-Home Supports and Community Residence programs for a little Halloween Party before the holiday weekend.
Our clients enjoyed some treats courtesy of our Piscataway office team and had a chance to socialize with some of the other individuals enrolled in our support programs.
Pizza, candy, and "Pin the Eye on the Witch" - oh my! It warmed our hearts to see clients from across the state come together to enjoy the holiday festivities. Some of them even showed off their Halloween costumes a couple days early!
Friends of Cyrus would like to extend a BIG thank you to our In-Home Supports department for always going above and beyond to make sure the individuals we serve feel included, supported, and loved. You guys are truly Superstars and FOC is so lucky to have you as part of our amazing team.
We can't wait to keep the celebrations rolling into Thanksgiving - so be sure to keep an eye out for our next "Friends at Home" newsletter this coming December 1st!

Friends of Cyrus is a Human Services agency that provides community-based residential programs, in-home support services, and day habilitation services to New Jersey’s developmentally disabled adults. Since its inception, Friends of Cyrus has operated with an unwavering mission in mind: to create a haven of lifetime support options for individuals with disabilities. Friends of Cyrus currently supports over 120 adults throughout Burlington and Middlesex Counties with a focus on fostering independence, dignity, privacy, choice, and individuality. 

Friends of Cyrus was founded in 2013 by Kamelia Kameli, a veteran in the healthcare industry and the parent of an adult son with autism, and Daren Singhani, the former CEO of a healthcare staffing company. Kameli’s son, Cyrus, was diagnosed with Autism at an early age and inspired the founding of the agency.
