VOLUNTEERS OF THE QUARTER

Margaret Schwartz

Charlie Davis

CONGRATULATIONS to our 2nd Quarter 2024 volunteers of the quarter, Margaret Schwartz & Charlie Davis! Margaret is a Chancel Choir member and volunteers her time running the Bereavement Team, which coordinates a reception for those Trinity members we've lost. She also spends time coordinating the Griefshare group, which will begin meeting again in the fall and serves as our "counter" for the giving each Sunday.

A better question to ask about Charlie Davis is, "What doesn't Charlie do?!" Over the last quarter, Charlie has served as a greeter, square one table, and even host for the Contemporary worship service. He has volunteered to make the coffee on Sunday mornings for all the guests and members who attend and do the counting for the Contemporary service. Charlie has been the first to volunteer for several events and is always willing to give a helping hand wherever needed.

We are so grateful for Margaret and Charlie's giving of their time and energy to help spread the love of Christ through action by serving! If you see them, please help us by telling them THANK YOU and, of course, CONGRATULATIONS!

WELCOME TO OUR NEW OFFICE ASSISTANT!

Welcome, Gabrielle Banks!

We are very excited to welcome Gabrielle Banks to our Trinity staff team! Gabrielle will join us beginning Monday, June 10, as the new office assistant in the reception office.

Gabrielle was born and raised in Fort Walton Beach and is currently stationed in the area with her husband and daughter at Eglin AFB. She has worked locally as a listing coordinator for the Domenech Group at Keller Williams and as a Makeup Artist for weddings. She enjoys fishing at the beach with her family, boating, and reading.

Please join us in welcoming Gabrielle to the Trinity family!

Over the past several years, several office volunteers have graciously taken up the role of Office Assistant. We want to say THANK YOU to this fantastic group of women who have given their time and energy to help run the day-to-day operations of the front office and assist our Trinity Staff as needed. Thank you for your time, energy, and dedication to helping make Trinity a warm and welcoming place for all who enter.

SUMMER SERIES RECOMMENDATION

Need a series for the summer? Check out "The Book of Job" featuring Francis Chan.

The world teaches us to revolve our actions, thoughts, and beliefs around ourselves. “It’s all about you!” we are encouraged to think. In the world’s philosophy, we become the author and hero of our story. But the Bible teaches a different view, one where another hero—the actual Author of life—takes center stage. In the book of Job, God asserts his preeminence and displays his power. Join Francis Chan in this eight-session series on Job as he explores the overriding truth that we exist not for ourselves but to glorify the God who deserves all worship and praise.

STUDENT MINISTRY

Hello from A.R.M

The past week, 25 youth students and leaders dedicated themselves to spreading the love of Christ and serving those in need in rural Tuskegee, AL. They ran the SonShine Day Camp for the local kids and worked in teams to install a new floor and roof and assist in building sustainable houses. It was an enriching experience for everyone involved.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this 17-year student ministry summer mission trip with Alabama Rural Ministry possible for our students and leaders!

SOUNDS LIKE SUMMER (JUNE 9)

We are kicking off our summer together on June 9 with a soundside party at Curtis' house. You'll need a respectful swimsuit, a towel, and a change of clothes. Dinner and a good time will be provided! You can swim in the pool or sound and play in the yard. We will leave the church at 5:30 pm and return at 8:30 pm. Meet at Trinity at 5:15, the bus will leave at 5:30 and return at 8:30 pm

TAKE CARE TUESDAYS

Get Out of Your Head is a Biblical guide to discovering how to submit our minds to Christ because how we think shapes how we live. As we surrender every thought to Jesus, the promises of God flood our lives in profound ways. Join us Tuesdays for Take Care Tuesday as we take care of our mind, body, and soul with a workout, bible study, and a meal together. The price will vary week to week with where we go eat. We will meet on June 18, 25, and July 2, 23, and 30.

MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL FINANCIAL STUDY

Credit card debt. Car loans. Peer pressure. Anxiety. Fear. // Generosity. Wisdom. Contentment. Integrity. Freedom. Which list would you rather your teenager have?

This study helps teens embrace God’s plan for their finances through Bible study and practical skill development. It begins them on a journey of responsible stewardship of money and life! Through scripture, relatable examples, and easy-to-read instruction, teens apply biblical truths and real-life habits to their personal lives in concrete exercises designed to strengthen their relationship with God and prepare them for the adventure He has designed for them. Sign up for this study by June 12; it costs $20. Meetings are June 23 & 30, July 14, 21, and 28.

NO YOUTH - JUNE 16,19, JULY 10, & AUGUST 11 & 14
