TRINITY IN THE COMMUNITY! | |

Embracing the spirit of camaraderie and service, we recently participated in Military Family Appreciation Day, hosted by the Greater FWB Chamber of Commerce. This was a phenomenal opportunity to connect with and give back to our community. It was a heartwarming experience to engage with military families, offering support and gratitude for their sacrifices. This event not only strengthened our bonds within the community but also highlighted the importance of honoring those who serve our country selflessly.
We were able to provide information about our amazing ministries and all things happening at Trinity UMC, including our upcoming VBS in June. A HUGE thank you to all those who volunteered to help during the event:

DAY OF PRAYER - MAY 2
The National Day of Prayer will be held on Thursday, May 2. This annual observance, held on the first Thursday of May, invites people of all faiths to pray for the nation.
We will be hosting two prayer sessions in our sanctuary from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Join us for either or both prayer sessions, and let's come together to pray for our families, friends, and community, and nation as we seek guidance and strength for our daily challenges. See you there!

THANK YOU POTLUCK - MAY 28
Join us on Tuesday, May 28, to say THANK YOU to our awesome Interim Pastor, Mark Lilly! As you may be aware, Pastor Mark has been appointed to the First United Methodist Church in Monroeville, AL, and his last Sunday with us will be Sunday, June 16.
We'd like you to join us in expressing our deepest gratitude to Pastor Mark for being the interim pastor here at Trinity for the last few months. This will be a potluck dinner, with the entree provided. Please bring a side or dessert to share.
The event is from 5 - 7 p.m. in our Memorial Fellowship Hall. See you there!

THIS ONE'S FOR THE BOYS' WEEKEND - MAY 4 & 5
Have you signed up yet? Our first boy's weekend retreat is May 4 and 5. Participation costs $80. This weekend is structured around the boys' ministry bonding, worshipping together, stepping outside their comfort zones, and seeing life from a new perspective as they mature in their faith. The cost covers lodging, three meals, and activities.

Graduation Sunday
Calling all seniors! It is time to prepare for the end of school as you know it! You have grown so much over the years, and we are so so so proud of you! Wednesday, May 15, is Seniors Speak. This is the night you'll get to share all the wisdom you have gained. Sunday, May 19, is Senior Sunday, and we will celebrate the class of 2024 during the contemporary service. We invite all family and friends to attend and join us in celebrating your student's incredible accomplishments and praying for their futures. Please complete the service survey, return it to Melissa, sign up for the senior trip with Melissa, and email your pictures to MaKenzie Johnson at communications@trinityfwb.org. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL:
JUNE 17 - 21
It's time for Vacation Bible School! We are excited for kids to take deep into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. At Scuba VBS, kids will be immersed in the Word and discover what living water is really all about!
Ages: Entering VPK (August 2024) - just completing 5th grade.
This year, we are excited to again be partnering with First United Methodist!
