Hey Trinity,

This year, we partner with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of NWFL for our Lenten Mission Project. Since 2010 the Ronald McDonald House Charities of NWFL has served as a home-away-from-home and source of respite and resources for more than 29,000 adults and children. They have provided love and support to families of children with medical needs by giving them a place to call home. In a time of extreme doubt and stress their philosophy is to provide the opportunities for families to focus on their healing child and nothing else.

HELP US REACH OUR GOAL!

GOAL = $5,000

We encourage each of you to participate as well! However big or small, 100% of your donation will go towards helping families within our community face the most challenging time in their lives.

LENT SERMON SERIES - "DOUBT"

It's easy to think of doubt as a sign of weak faith. But it's not. Doubt happens. It's present in our lives every single day. But here is the good news, God isn't afraid of our doubts and we don't have to be either. In our lent sermon series, Doubt, we'll explore the questions that we may have been too afraid to ask.

Join us this Lenten season (February 18 - March 24) to have your questions answered.

UPCOMING EVENTS & STUDIES

Thank you to everyone who has submitted a questionnaire and attended a listening group! Life in a faith community brings many joys and challenges; our goal is to continue working through all obstacles together to build a bright future that honors God. Join us for "Coffee with the DS" THIS UPCOMING SUNDAY, February 18 at 3:00 p.m. in the Memorial Fellowship Hall. Our District Superintendent, Rev. Jean Tippit, will be joining us to provide the answers to questions or address any concerns that came from the listening groups. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided. See you there!

Early Morning Prayer Gathering

During Lent we reflect on what we need to discard or add to our lives that is going to enhance our relationship with Christ. Our First of All prayer group has planned an early morning prayer gathering to do just that. Join us for an early morning prayer session on Tuesday, February 27 from 6:30 AM – 10 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Let's come together and start the day praying for our families, friends, and community, and seek guidance and strength for our daily challenges. See you there!

The OAKS - Lunch

The next OAKS meeting will take place on Wednesday, February 28. We are planning a lunch at either Olive Garden or Clubhouse Grill. More information will be sent via the mailing list. If you're interested in participating but not on the mailing list, please contact the church office.

The Challenge Weekend - We Need Your Help!

The Challenge is back, and we need your help! We are looking for volunteers on Saturday, March 2, to help students find small group rooms, direct traffic, and have smiling faces. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience worship with over 200 teens in our Sanctuary. If you can't help, we need frozen hamburgers, hotdogs, personal-sized bagged chips, and cookies.

Hop your way into spring at our super fun Easter Eggstravaganza! Our 3rd annual Easter Eggstravaganza is back! Join us Saturday, March 30, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the parking lot for THREE age-appropriate Egg hunts, food, games, music, and an all-around good time!

This is a community outreach event for families with children through grade 5. We plan to have three giant egg hunts, food, games, and more! Our goal is to have 20 stations with activities or games decorated by families, Sunday school classes, local businesses, and school clubs. The goal is for each booth to be a game or an activity for the children. We ask that you decorate for families of all ages to come, so be creative! None of this is possible without your help!

WHEN: Saturday, March 30 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

WHERE: Trinity United Methodist Church (403 Racetrack Rd NW, Ft. Walton Beach, FL 32547)

Chancel Bell Players Needed

The Chancel Bell Choir needs players! If you have a passion for music and are interested in joining the choir, please consider joining our team. We seek dedicated individuals who can commit to weekly practices and occasional performances.

No prior experience is necessary, and training will be provided. Our goal is to create beautiful music and enhance our worship services through the art of handbell ringing.

If you want to join us, please get in touch with Mariah Picot in the church office for more information.

KIDS MINISTRY

Valentine's Notes & Nerf War!

The two go together, right?! Be sure to build a Valentine's Day Box because on February 18, we are taking time to exchange cards! We will have Valentine's Day cards available for you to personalize and deliver that night. After our exchange the Nerf War begins in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a nerf gun, darts, and protective eyewear (this is a must). We will meet from 6-9 pm to spread love and Nerf darts!

Happily Ever After Worship Night - Feb. 25

Our February Worship Night will be on the 25th from 6-7:30 p.m. Our theme in Happily Ever After, sounds nauseating or absolutely dreamy, I'm sure. But stick with me, our guest speakers Cory and Stephanie are going to talk about the joys and trials of going through life single, dating, and married and how to navigate life with Jesus in all phases. So find your princess dress or put on your prince attire and come ready to worship!
