CHAIN REACTIONS OF LIGHT

Using playful creatures as symbols for human challenges, McAbee's pieces carry a hopeful undertone, inviting viewers of all ages to engage with their whimsy. With a background in practical construction and an MFA from Winthrop University, McAbee combines humor, color, and storytelling in his indoor and outdoor murals and sculptures.

First Fridays Rock Hill takes place inside the shops, restaurants, galleries, and venues located in Old Town Rock Hill, with different happenings at each one. Visitors can expect to hear music, see art, and shop pop-up markets. Many restaurants will have food and drink specials during First Fridays Rock Hill.

NEW MURAL ALERT IN ROCK HILL

The Women’s Art Initiative is leading a new mural project at the Corner Oasis in Rock Hill. This artwork is being created by Mural Ninjas, a minority women-run business based in Charlotte, NC, who believe that art can inspire and uplift neighborhoods.
