Dear friends:

The devastation brought to our fellow Americans in Puerto Rico by hurricane Maria is the worst ever on the beautiful island to which we at SAC have such a strong bond. The Spanish-American Center is responding to both our personal connections on the island, and we are also gearing up for the arrival of many refugees of Maria, seeking safety here, among friends and family. The crisis seems insurmountable, but with the help of our friends and supporters we will do everything possible to assist in the recovery effort.

Please help! You can support the SAC and enjoy a wonderful taste of Hispanic culture by joining us at a special evening fundraiser on October 27, 2017 from 5 - 7 PM. Our friends at the Fitchburg Art Museum and our own Lionel Reinford will present an "Evening at the Arts" - to help us catch our breath and renew our efforts to help others - the core mission of our agency. The popular trio Los Soñadores will help with their fabulous live music.

Join us for some hearty appetizers and connect with friends after work. The beautiful exhibit "Mr. Reinford's World" will send us on a vacation of the mind to beautiful and familiar locations. A bit of Puerto Rican love will also be present - as we hope will you!
