As we approach my favorite holiday I realize that I have so much to be thankful and grateful for despite the crazy year we are all experiencing.

My family and friends have remained healthy, I have improved my well being by swimming almost every day, I have read many great books and I am getting involved in a few new and exciting projects. I am looking forward to the vaccine being available very soon so we can all resume "business as usual".

I am very thankful for each and every one of you who has allowed me to help plan your vacations and I am grateful for the many friendships that have developed over the years. Steve and I wish everyone a Happy and safe Thanksgiving. Our celebrations may look and feel a little different this year but we can look forward to 2021 when we will once again gather with loved ones.

Cruise Line Updates...

Most cruise lines have now extended their pause in sailing through March 31, 2021 in light of the recent surge in Covid-19 cases. They are still moving forward with all the changes that need to be made to insure we are all safe when we do return to cruising, I will bring you the latest news each month so you can be informed. RCCL has extended the use of Future Cruise Credits through the end of 2021.
New Trips for 2022 & Beyond...

Once most travel has resumed and we are welcomed back to Europe, we will begin working on other trips including a land trip to Ireland in 2022.
Remember, you don't have to wait for a group to travel. We are happy to plan a trip just for you!

The VACCINE is Coming

We are all very anxious for a vaccine to protect us against Corona Virus to become available. It looks like this will happen in the very near future with seniors and those with pre-existing conditions among the first to receive it. I am ready and in line! I know many of you will consider travel once you have been vaccinated and we are here to help.

THE LAST TACKLE
BY JAMES WALLGREN

I have read many books about people who have overcome adversity and have had life altering events turn their world upside down in an instant. However, I never knew the main character before. Jim and Janet are clients who, over the years, have become friends. I've done individual cruises for them and they have joined our groups as well. Many of you have traveled with them to the Caribbean and Alaska. Jim wrote his story recently and it is incredible. Even though I was aware of some of the things Jim endured, seeing it in detail on the written page was totally different. Certain chapters made my heart hurt and made me so sad. I highly recommend this book to all of you. I'm so thankful that Jim and Janet are my friends and that I know Jim. He certainly is a man of courage but, most importantly, he's just a great guy who had a stoke of bad luck but didn't let that get in his way to having a great life.

Some of these are easy reading (Chick Lit) but some are fairly intense. Enjoyed every one of these books. Reading is a great escape to another time and place which I think we can all use a little of right now.
My next book is The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett.
ACCESSIBLE BEACH HOUSE

Thanks to all of you who responded to my email asking for your wish list if you were building an accessible beach house. I was blown away by the number of responses I received. I will tell you that this house will become a reality but you all need to be patient as it will take a while to be ready. The house will be a vacation rental and will include just about everything that you have requested. A few items are a little more difficult to incorporate but we are working on possible solutions. This is NOT my house but I will keep you posted on progress and when it becomes available. When I am at liberty to divulge more details, I will let you know so stay tuned.
