April Showers Bring May Flowers

I enjoy the rain especially when I'm home working in my office and watching from my window. I don't like being out in it or driving! I certainly hope you've all stayed dry and are enjoying the benefits like green grass, trees with new leaves and beautiful blooms.
April was mostly spent discovering the beauty of New Zealand where they are enjoying autumn. Please read all about this amazing adventure below. I must be getting older because I had a really difficult time with jet lag on the return trip. Just couldn't seem to shake the sleepiness. Happy to report I feel pretty good now and back to normal sleep patterns.

New Zealand...one for the books!
Planning our trip to New Zealand took more than 18 months but it was well worth it. This was an absolutely fantastic trip for our group of 11 participants. We had a tour guide and an assistant plus our awesome motor coach driver. All three were very knowledgable about New Zealand and all the places we visited. Our driver, Gary, entertained us with great stories and anecdotes about people he had met in his 40 plus years of driving through the country. Everyone got along so well and brought different insights to the trip. Most have traveled with us before. As soon as things settle down, I'll write a full report on this trip. In the meantime, I'll share what was the highlight for me. I knew that two of our travelers who had traveled with me but not together, would become fast friends and, I'm happy to report, they did! Our guides arranged for them to attend a rugby match together as they were very curious to learn more about this popular pastime. They had a great time attending a match while the rest of us enjoyed some free time in Wellington. On our last full day, these two went skydiving in Wanaka, a lovely town outside of Queenstown in the South Island. They were paired up with expert instructors who had no hesitation in skydiving with a bilateral amputee and a paraplegic. I briefly thought about joining them but, at Steve's request, decided against it! I was just bursting with pride that these two gentlemen did not let their disabilities stop them from enjoying life to the fullest. Events like this are the reward I get for doing what I do and I love all of it!
Stay tuned for more information on this wonderful trip.
Do Not Fly with Hemp CBD Oil
Cbd oil_ Cannabis of the formula CBD.
CBD Oil is becoming increasingly popular especially among those of us with chronic medical conditions. As a bilateral amputee, I often experience phantom pains and discomfort. I've been wanting to try CBD oil for some time and just began using it this past week. The verdict is still out but I have enjoyed wonderful sleep. This morning I saw a newscast saying that Dallas - Ft. Worth Airport is cracking down on people traveling with these little vials of oil. Imagine my disappointment upon hearing this. They are actually arresting people although, legally, this is not legal. I'm interested in knowing your thoughts on this subject. Please email me if you use CBD Oil and if you travel with it. Also interested in knowing if it has helped you. Thanks for your input.
Saying Goodbye is Never Easy

Over the past few months, four clients have passed away. I wanted to share this with you as you may have traveled with one or more of these lovely people.
John Koys traveled with us on our first group trip to Ireland in 2014. He had a charming smile, loved the Chicago sports teams and was a joy to travel with.
Raul Figueroa, hair stylist to the stars and ballroom dancer, made us all laugh. He went to Israel with us as well as the Western Med and New England.
Mary Jennings traveled with us to Alaska and the Caribbean with her husband John. Mary was a very sweet lady and took excellent care of John. Mary was quiet but could party with the best of us!
Alice Alt came with us to Alaska and the Caribbean and was hoping to join us on our next trip to Hawaii. Unfortunately, she passed away suddenly. I was happy to be able to spend time with her recently at the Dallas Arboretum.
You will all be missed by your loving families, your friends and all who knew you. My deepest condolences to your families.
