The Supreme Court will soon reach a decision in the Johnson vs Grants Pass case, answering the question of whether all people in America are truly protected by the Constitution. We cannot treat the most vulnerable among us as disposable. The only proven solutions to homelessness are providing people with housing and services. | |
Did you know that every year, approximately 1,000 young people age out of the foster care system in Michigan, with 20% of them become immediately homeless?
This spring, MCHS Family of Services is raising funds for their Independent Living Plus (ILP) program which works directly with youth aging out of foster care. Your partnership and generosity will not only offer these young individuals the stability of a home but also the chance to receive vital life-skills training, job-readiness preparation, financial planning education, and so much more. Find out more about the fundraiser and donate here.
