Just a quick shout on a Friday! We've added a video of the new Brescian bass on our Yuotube channel for all of you who have been asking to see and hear it.
This afternoon finds me working on a tandem of new Brescian builds. It's a pleasant way to work, as the glue sets up on one, I can turn to the other...
The first is a hybrid with selected veneers, and the other a very special carved version where we are pulling out the stops - using Maple from the same log that was used for our 2011 ISB Competition Bass!
Meanwhile Gary is wearing in his "Ur-Brescian." Check out the video, and if you're serious about checking it out, we think it's worth putting in some good ear buds or going beyond little computer speakers...

Gary walks through the design and features of the new Brescian model, and breaks off some pizzicato and arco examples.
Gary keeps threatening to get a piano (for Dave) and drums (for Chris) in the shop so we can check observe the big basses in their natural habitat! (watch this space!)
