Greetings!
Feed back on last weeks The Upton Report was
great! Thank you so much!
I'm going to get on my soap box now and use this space to talk to
you about humidifying your instrument. The temps are dropping, the
heat is on and the relative humidity of the room your instrument is
in is fluctuating like crazy. I did a few YouTube videos talking
about humidity control and if you want to see what we have to say,
just click here! There are two
videos at the bottom are worth a watch...and if you happen to buy a
humidifier while your there...thanks! ;)
So...without further ado, I bring you some Friday night double bass
goodness!
And remember...if you have ANY links, news, videos, etc. you want
to share, eMail it to me at eroy@uptonbass.com and I'll be sure to
share it. Oh...and if you just want to say "Hi" you can do that
too!
Have a nice weekend!

Eric,
In the "back at you" mode - I want to introduce you to Christopher
Williams, who is pretty far out there himself. I heard him play
(solo) here in LA and saw him again in Berlin. Total amazing;
rethinking the potential and purpose of the instrument.

Eric,
Here is something wild to consider for next week. My
daughter emailed it to me. It's a guy who took apart a piano and
somehow attached it to bass strings. It's like a piano-bass!
