Cornerstone Provided Geotechnical & Drone Services for Dermody Properties' LogistiCenter at Enterprise

Cornerstone Earth Group, Inc. provided geotechnical engineering support and consultation from the early development stages through the end of construction for Dermody Properties’ LogistiCenter at Enterprise in Hayward, CA. The 11-acre LogistiCenter at Enterprise site is now a completed industrial facility, consisting of a building totaling approximately 219,000 square feet, including 8,000 square feet of office space, with at-grade drive aisles and auto and trailer parking.

In addition to providing geotechnical engineering services for the LogistiCenter at Enterprise, Cornerstone also performed drone aerial mapping, material stockpile management, and data capture to document site conditions throughout mass grading and foundation construction phases.

Cornerstone's Drone Capabilities:

• Aerial Imagery

• Data Capture & Analysis

• 3D Modeling & Cross-Sectional Profile

• Visual Site Reconnaissance

• Geospatial Site Map Overlay

• Undocumented Fill Mapping & Documentation

• Soil Surcharge Monitoring

• Construction Site Monitoring

• Progression Mapping

• Geologic Hazard Mapping

• Pavement Distress Survey

• Ground Improvement Mitigation Monitoring

Cornerstone Earth Group, Inc. utilizes state-of-the-art drone video technology to help record construction site conditions, from pre-development planning through completion. This is especially helpful during the geotechnical investigation and environmental site assessment phases, as drone footage gives the invaluable capability of providing accurate, high-resolution aerial images of your project, allowing for precise site documentation before, during, and even after construction.

Drone footage can provide a comprehensive 360 degree aerial view of your site, revealing potential impacts and helping to identify the presence of geotechnical or environmental concerns. An example would be documenting the location of excavations created during building demolition and the backfilling of the excavations prior to construction of a new building pad. By giving you up-to-date geospatial orthomosaic mapping, drone imagery can be used to chronologically document your project, providing accurate progress reports throughout construction, saving you time and money, all while reducing potential exposure to risk.
