Thunder Bay Bus Transit Route

There are 17 bus lines in our city's public transit, but the 2 lines that will connect you to Lakehead University are Line 2 Crosstown and Line 9 Junot.

The bus transit line name refers to the endpoint of the route. For example, on the bus route named Junot to Waterfront, the final destination is the Waterfront Terminal. Read the bus line name and number, and check the bus schedule through Google Maps or NextLift to plan their adventures around the city.

It is strongly advised that you secure your place of accommodation prior to arriving in Thunder Bay. There is a housing rental shortage across Canada and that includes Thunder Bay. Houses, apartments, and rooms are very difficult to find.

If you decide to wait to find accommodations, please make arrangements for short-term accommodations. Some short-term accommodations will offer Lakehead discounts. Learn more here!
