Join Chris Carls, Amanda Ochs, Mike McKisson & BG Boyd on Thursday, April 18 for "Camera in the Clouds", a beginner and intermediate drone user’s guide to having successful flights and quality captures.
We’ll discuss the uses of drones, explore flying and editing techniques, earning a profit and review rules and certificate information.
Chris Carls is the Art Director at Cirrus Visual, a design and print firm in Tucson, AZ, and has an endless passion for creativity. As a drone hobbyist, he uses footage to explore photo and video editing techniques for social media use. INSTAGRAM
Amanda Ochs is a professional photographer and drone pilot from Phoenix who runs her own business, focusing on the the architecture and construction world as she saw how resourceful aerial photography could be in those industries. INSTAGRAM
Michael McKisson is a Professor of Practice at the UA’s School of Information and a certified drone pilot. He has taught dozens of students how to become commercial drone pilots and uses his drones for fun, real estate photography, mapping and more. INSTAGRAM
BG Boyd is an FAA certified drone pilot with a focus on Tucson's art and culture. He regularly works with Tucson's talented muralists to capture their art from unique vantage points and is a member of the Board of Directors for SAACA. During the day he is a software developer. INSTAGRAM
