Deborah Ann Fortin is the owner, operator of Silver Hands. She is an entrepreneur and has always liked to dabble in a variety of hobbies and interests. She is happiest when discovering new things. She grew up in Etobicoke/ Mississauga and moved to B.C. in 2006. She wanted to immerse herself in nature and embrace the various desired changes in her life . Her entrepreneurial side was always thinking of business ideas and focused on her passions and hobbies. Deborah is sensitive to energy and vibrations and has great compassion for people. She enjoys working with crystals and stones to create beautiful and healing jewelry. She also performs crystal Reiki and hot stone massage treatments.

To satisfy her creative inspirations Deborah will be bringing some new products and creations to the market, incorporating crystals and nature in fun and inspiring ways.

She is all about empowerment and she says 'the longer I'm on this earth, the more I realize just how important it is to live your joys and be true to who you are'.

Pet Notice: We want to remind pet owners who are attending the market to please leave their pets at home. This is a very busy, crowded market and is not an ideal environment for your pets.

If you are visiting the area and don't have pet-sitting options, please do not leave your pets in the car. We'd prefer to have them at the market than in a hot car or RV.

The Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce is hosting an art lovers’ experience!

ArtWorks is a one-of-a-kind weekend event that brings together celebrated artists, art lovers, collectors, gallery owners and the general public. So far, visiting Artists are coming from Vancouver, Victoria and Edmonton.

September 01 and 02 at the Quality Resort Bayside, Parksville. The public will have a rare opportunity to see these exceptional artists at work, meet the artists, attend demonstrations, workshops and panel discussions.

An amazing collection of fine works of art by the participating artists will be available for viewing and purchase in a pop up gallery.
