Japanese American incarceration and Vincent Chin's murder have been defining moments in Asian American history, when race was a factor of actions to discriminate against and harm AAPIs. Now, our community is grappling with our own history of civic engagement and history of anti-blackness, and how to be allies for Black Lives Matter. A conversation on lessons in movement building, narrative-making, and ally-forming that can inform the work that needs to be done today.
