Based on Eisler's newest book with anthropologist Douglas P. Fry, Nurturing Our Humanity: How Domination and Partnership Shape Our Brains, Lives, and Future (Oxford University Press, 2019), Eisler, with moderator, Tim Seldin, will guide us through an amazing journey on how children develop their humanity through a Montessori lens and a global perspective.

This course, which we cannot promise will be offered again, offers a unique and very rare opportunity to spend eight weeks learning together.

Eisler shows us how neuroscience explains why and how children develop. It reveals relationships between climate change denial and strong-man rule, the fear-and-force-based discipline of children and warfare, subordination of women and racism (and other forms of discrimination). And with the causes revealed in these relationships and others, more creative solutions are possible.

Other Info:

Are primate brains wired for empathy or cruelty?

How do cultural patterns of Domination or Partnership shape our brains and our behavior?

The course answers these questions along with presenting a fresh understanding of the part you play in weaving a new human story and your essential role in the global Partnerism Movement.

In this webinar, Dr. Mary Crnobori, BCBA, Khayree Bey, BBSc, M.Ed. and Dr. Riane Eisler share on-the-ground stories about their work implementing effective, compassionate, trauma-sensitive practices at all levels in public school systems, from whole-district initiatives to classroom-based strategies.

The webinar includes resources to help you join the trauma-informed movement in your classroom, school or district.

Caring and Connected Parenting: A Guide to Raising Connected Children is a short, accessible handbook to guide Partnership parenting in the early years.

Based on the latest neuroscience research, the guide contains sections for newborns to one year, one to two years, two to three years, and three to four years old. It is downloadable in English and Spanish.

We are dedicated to activating a mainstream movement to build Partnership-based economic and social systems that support human beings and the planet that sustains us.

To activate this mainstream movement, we created a gallery of infographics, quote cards, and fact sheets that highlight Dr. Riane Eisler’s multidisciplinary research and scholarship on Partnership Systems.

Contribute to the on-the-ground work of building Partnership Systems by making a one-time or monthly recurring donation to the Center for Partnership Systems.

Through your donation you ensure that your voice is heard – and that it has real impact.

The Partnerism Movement is a CPS initiative to accelerate the shift from Domination to Partnership Systems. We start with a caring economics of Partnerism, an economic system that, unlike Capitalism and Socialism, values and rewards caring for one another, nature, and our collective future. We invite you to join the Partnerism Movement.
