I seldom go into a publication cycle seeking a theme but sometimes a theme emerges in hindsight. This week we have several articles about electric power for vehicles. Notably, we have news this week about Joby's new 5 seat (1 pilot and 4 passengers) electric VTOL aircraft, Zero Motorcycles teaming up with Polaris to make electric off-road vehicles and snowmobiles, and a team of UCSC engineers who have received funding to develop an all-electric power train to help enable net-zero carbon emissions for commercial aircraft. Pretty cool!

Our news also includes Parallel Flight Technologies' announcement of their Regulation A+ equity crowdfunding campaign. The offering is open to the public with a minimum investment of $500.
