2022 Student Journalism Challenge

PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs is launching 🚀 a new Student Journalism Challenge! Students aged 13 to 18 years have the opportunity to be published and win prizes for their written, video, and audio pieces on the theme "My Education, My Future". Expert judges will select the best of each format and stories will be shared widely on local and national public media platforms. Deadline for entries: Friday, December 2, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. ET
Libraries: Register to Participate in STEM Storytime in a Box

Through a partnership between Idaho Public Television and Idaho Commission for Librarieswith funding from Idaho STEM Action Center and support from Project Learning Tree and READY! For Kindergartenwe bring STEM Storytime in a Box program to Idaho libraries, preschools, and early childhood professionals to increase their early STEM knowledge and receive resources to integrate early STEM into storytime activities.

Music therapy is a scientifically proven treatment to help with issues like anxiety, depression, developmental delays, memory issues, stroke recovery, and more. Our Rhythm of Resilience series takes a look at what music therapy is and how it can help people of all ages with a wide variety of conditions.

In-person Screenings in Idaho for New PBS KIDS Series

A brand-new PBS KIDS series for preschoolers premiered this week on Idaho Public Television and will air weekdays at 11:30 am and 1:30pm.

Rosie's Rules stars 5-year-old Rosie Fuentes, a bilingual Mexican American girl who is just beginning to learn about how the great, big, fascinating world around her works. Rosie and her blended, multicultural family live in suburban Texas.
