March 15, 2020
Hello All,

These past few weeks have certainly been interesting. It heartens me to see that the Co-op can be a safe place for our members and friends. In fact, just the other day someone told me that they felt safe at the Co-op...and it made my day.

We will work together as staff, volunteers, and community to weather this situation. In partnership, we will be flexible and work to meet the needs of our community in the moment and as things change.

What I would like for all of us is time for self-care, rejuvenation, and some really good food.

If you have any special needs, please don't hesitate to let me know. I am definitely listening.

See you at the Co-op,
Kristin

Sweet Earth Farm Kunekune Pork
Amanda at Sweet Earth Farm raises Kunekune pigs, a small Maori heritage breed hog from New Zealand.

She raises them on pasture, with scratch and peck organic hog feed, spent grains from San Juan Brewery and apple mash from Westcott Bay, for rich, incredibly sweet, small cuts.

That's about as local as you can get.

We’re now carrying loin chops, pork belly, hocks (sliced) and kabobs. Yum.
