MONTGOMERY COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY

MAY 2024

SUBSCRIBEDONATEVOLUNTEER

Early Voting in Sheriff Runoff Begins Tomorrow!

Electing a Sheriff who will defend our freedoms is one of the most important decisions voters can make.

On May 28, Montgomery County will decide whether incumbent Sheriff Rand Henderson or challenger, Captain Wesley Doolittle, will be the Sheriff of Montgomery County for the next four years.

Early Voting will be held May 20-24. Election Day is May 28.

The Sheriff is elected by the people and reports to the people, not to the state or federal government. He has the power to defend county residents against unconstitutional mask mandates, gun restrictions, voting laws, immigration policy, and unlawful entry of our homes by the federal government. Electing a Sheriff who will protect our freedoms is one of the most important decisions voters can make.

Addressing Claims Made in the Montgomery County Sheriff's Race

Choose a Day to Vote

Texas Republicans made great strides in the Primary Election, but it is important for us to stay vigilant in our local elections. We encourage you to decide when you will vote in this important election and add it to your calendar today.

Voter Information

Beware of Slanderous Media and Texts

A slanderous text message was sent to voters on May 9, claiming that crime has risen and cases are going unsolved in Montgomery County. The data from this text was lifted from this article from Montgomery County, MARYLAND. Montgomery County, TEXAS, has actually had a DECREASE in crime. The text assumes that voters will not research the data to determine that it isn't even from our county.

Always look for the "paid for by" disclaimer on every election ad, text, or mailer. Visit transparencyusa.org to look up the organization paying for the ad to see who is really responsible for the message. If the disclaimer isn't there, ask yourself, why not?

May 4th Local Election Results

Thank you to everyone who researched the candidates and voted in the Uniform/Joint Election. Results are posted on the Montgomery County Elections website.

S&P Downgrades the City of Conroe’s Credit Rating a Second Time Due to City Council’s Failed Hyatt Hotel Project

There is an increasing awareness that the Las Vegas Sands Corporation (corporate casino gambling) is hard at work to place a casino in Montgomery County. It is no coincidence that money from the Sands Corporation is flowing into Montgomery County political ads, texts, and hit pieces against Conservative Republicans. Is the Conroe City Council trying to slide corporate casino gambling into our community as a solution to their failed Hyatt project?

Now, More Than Ever, Montgomery County Republicans Must Come Together

While the Montgomery County Republican Party is focused on raising funds, educating voters, and getting people excited about the party, constant attacks are being leveled at the volunteers and hard-working Precinct Chairs who make up the local party. But the attacks are not coming from the Democrat Party as one might expect.

What Is Christian Nationalism and Why Do Liberal Globalists Hate It So Much?

by Pastor Dale Inman, State Republican Executive Committeeman (SREC SD-4) and Precinct 27 Chair

We constantly hear the left’s clamorous cries against “Christian Nationalism” as they try to take faithful believers out of the game culturally and politically. As we close in on November 5th, we can expect increasing pressure to divest ourselves from Christian Nationalism. Do not allow the left’s attempts to control language define you. Stand strong in your faith in God and your love of country. Wear the badge “Christian Nationalist” with honor.
