Dear RSFBPW Ladies, Esteemed Guests:
As we gather to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Rancho Santa Fe Business and Professional Women's Association, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude. Over the past four decades, our group has evolved and grown, but the core values that bind us together remain unchanged. We are a community of ambitious, creative, fun, loving women who support each other's businesses and personal growth.
Our journey has been marked by countless achievements and cherished memories. We have made significant contributions to numerous charities, offering our resources and time to make a positive impact in our community. These acts of kindness and generosity reflect the true spirit of our association and the compassionate hearts of our members.
Friendships formed within our group have been a cornerstone of our success. The support we extend to one another in times of need and the celebration of each other's victories have created a strong, enduring bond. Together, we have navigated the challenges of entrepreneurship and celebrated the triumphs, always standing by each other's side.
As we honor our 40th year, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for each one of you. Your dedication, passion, and unwavering support have made our association what it is today. We may not be the same group that started 40 years ago, but we have grown into something even more beautiful—a vibrant and dynamic community of women who inspire and uplift one another.
Thank you for being an integral part of our journey. Your presence and contributions have enriched our group, and I am excited to see what the future holds for us. As we continue to create memories and strive for excellence, let us remember the strength and unity that have brought us this far.
To celebrate our 40th Anniversary, we encourage you to wear your “favorite" or your finest 1980’s attire. You can even win an Amazon gift card when you come prepared to win.
Here's to 40 years of friendship, support, and success—and to many more years of making a difference together.
I look forward to seeing you August 15! As we celebrate or 40 years as a networking group, let us also celebrate our collective achievements and the incredible journey we are on together.
Warmly,
Jill Harris

Celebrate Our 40th Anniversary
The Rancho Santa Fe Business and Professional Women's Association is celebrating 40 years as a Women's Networking Association.
RSFbpw was started in Rancho Santa Fe with around twenty entrepreneurial business women who primarily lived in the Rancho Santa Fe area. We have since expanded our membership to women who primarily live in the North County.
In our 40 years of networking, we have continuously met for a monthly luncheon and networking 480 times.
There are no original members left in the group, however there are several women who have been in the group for many years. This month we want to honor those long-standing members as well as all of our members. We want to celebrate the strength and resilience of our group for 40 years.
Our Mission Statement is to encourage, support, and motivate each other not just in our business, but to develop our true potential as women in our community and have a lot of fun in the process. This month we will celebrate 40 years with fun, food and fellowship!

Purses with a Purpose!
Handbags for Healing
Our 2024 RSFbpw Charity is The Alabaster Jar. In addition to donating our Raffle Basket proceeds to the Alabaster Jar in December, we are also sponsoring a Purse Drive:
Healing Handbags! Purses with a Purpose designed to create awareness for the victims of sex trafficking.
Members and guests have the opportunity to donate new or gently used handbags, tote bags as well as donated sundries, such as sunscreen, hand cream, face cream, lip gloss, tissues, etc.
Inside the purses, the Alabaster Jar Project will also place resource information so any women who may be a victim of sex trafficking and wants help can reach out and get help.
We'd love for you to donate a new or used small purse, handbag or tote, during our meetings this year. By tugging on your own heartstrings your gently worn or never used purse can save a victim of sex trafficking in San Diego County.

We offer Shout-outs and testimonial time at the end of many of our meetings, however it depends on the time left after our speaker has concluded their presentation. We do not offer testimonial time at our November and December meetings because of the length of the program. We encourage you to pass out your information, flyers, handouts and community announcements during the open networking time which is between 11:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

A Gentle Reminder about Spamming RSFbpw Members
Members and visitors must individually ask each member for permission to place them on any form of mass communication-email blasts, newsletter lists, U.S. Mail lists or group texts. Without each member's individual permission, we consider this type of communication to be an act of spamming. To build long-term relationships with members please write personal notes and emails first and after developing rapport, ask these members only for permission to place them on your mailing list. Thank you for your cooperation.
If you are interested in becoming a member of our women's Rancho Santa Fe, Business and Professional Women's Association, you must attend two meetings as a visitor, then apply for membership. We have 3 members per category, and if the category is not filled, you can submit the application to one of our board members for consideration. If the category is filled, we encourage you to continue to attend our meetings and network with our members. You can apply when the position opens. Any questions about membership, Contact our VP Membership Sandi Marvich at MSMARVICH@GMAIL.COM or call 619-886-9568.
