Third Sunday of Lent

SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT DURING LENT

This season of Lent we are offering a number of opportunities for spiritual growth, reflection, and socializing as a parish community.

We begin with a service called Tenebrae

Sunday, March 3rd at 4:00 PM in the Rosemont Chapel, followed by a light supper in Harten Hall. Tenebrae is something like Lessons and Carols that we celebrate in Advent, using music and Scripture as a means of prayer and reflection.

Tuesday, March 5th,(RSVP by March 4th) and Thursday, March 14th (RSVP by March 13th) at 6:00 PM in Harten Hall we will have Synod Suppers, an opportunity to pray, discuss, and socialize with a light supper while reflecting on the aftermath of the Synod in Rome and how we can continue to participate in this process in preparation for the next phase of the Synod in October of this year.   RSVP office@stvparish.org | 610-525-4801. Young Adults are especially encouraged to attend! Our speaker is a young adult so it would be great to have more young adults involved in the discussion!

March 19th at 7:00 PM in Harten Hall, Fr. Jim Paradis, O.S.A. will lead us in an evening of recollection on Pope Francis’ “Laudate Deum” which continues his emphasis on our care for creation, incorporating prayer and discussion and followed by light refreshments.

It is our hope that you will take advantage of these events for your spiritual enrichment and contribute to the upbuilding of our parish community. Fr. Joe
