THE WEEKEND REPORT

Friday Night September 6~ It was so good being back with Pastor David & Cheryl Hartgrove @ Crossroads Cathedral Assembly of God in Centralia, MO. The last time we were with them was back in 2019, so we had some catching up to do. We Love these folks and have had the privilege of being with them for many years; it was basically a “Homecoming.” 

Saturday Night September 7 ~  Our schedule for this day was AWESOME; we had the opportunity to watch Jayda cheer at a football game, we also saw Little Jon play in his 2nd football game. They Won 55-6! (View Pictures Below).

After their games we headed for Jacksonville, IL, to be with Pastor Roger Davis and congregation of Faith Tabernacle Church. They were hosting an evening concert which featured our friends The Wanda Mountain Boys & The Lesters, and it was an incredible night. Thanks to so many precious friends that attended the concert. 

Sunday Afternoon September 8 ~ Our last stop for the week was in Shelbyville, MO, to be with our dear friends Pastor John & Debbie Gorham. John is pastor of First Baptist Church there in Shelbyville, but he also sings with Renewed Quartet. Several months ago when he scheduled this date to be held on the Courthouse Square, I mentioned we should get together, Renewed Qt. & The Lesters, and do the concert. GOOD CALL…It was a Gorgeous Fall like afternoon, and a good crowd of folks gathered to hear The Gospel in song. It was a wonderful afternoon and we want to thank John & Debbie, their church family, and all the guys in Renewed Quartet for all of their efforts in promoting this great event. (SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST…Please be in prayer for Pastor John Gorham. God knows his need so please join with us praying for our precious Brother in Christ.)
